VILLA DAVID BED AND BREAKFAST
Sadly, public nudity is against the law in Mexico, so all public nudity is forbidden. Since, by definition, resort beaches and/or pool areas are considered public, there are no clothing-optional public beaches or resorts in Puerto Vallarta.
That being said, there is one private B & B that does offer a clothing optional environment and it's located in the heart of old town Puerto Vallarta.
Villa David Bed and Breakfast is the only gay men, clothing optional, guest house centrally located in an authentic Mexican neighborhood within easy walking distance of all the finest attractions of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It is also the closest gay property to most of the gay bars and a short walk through the colorful cobblestone streets will take you past the former homes of Liz Taylor, Richard Burton and John Huston.
The old world hacienda style mansion is built around a central courtyard, so privacy is pretty much guaranteed. The house is on the hillside overlooking the beautiful Bay of Banderas and built in the open-air style to catch every mountain and bay breeze.
Villa David has a comfortable home-like atmosphere. The house is built around a lush green courtyard centered with a beautiful brick and tile pool that was built around an existing old cut stone fountain. The courtyard features lush tropical plantings and a brick terrace that is a great place to sit and read, play games or just talk.
There are many common areas to socialize and plan the night's activities with other guests. The living room and dining room have only three walls, thus opening them to the courtyard so you get the feel of living outside. The living room also has a television and VCR with a collection of tapes, and a small library.
The dining room, where breakfast is served (fresh fruit, juice, rolls, pancakes, or french toast or scrambled eggs, home fries, coffee and tea) is a great place to talk with other guests and plan the activities for the evening.
All of Villa David's ten bedrooms have private baths, six have balconies and are built in the Mexican style. Two of these rooms have huge round tubs with domes and cupolas, the other four have hand made tile murals on their shower walls
All rooms have ceiling fans. Coupled with the mountain and ocean breezes, they provide lots of ventilation and breezes.
The resort offers rooms with either queen or king sized bed with one room with two double beds. Some rooms have an additional twin bed if you are traveling with a companion and prefer not to share the same bed.

Other clothing optional options include The Puerto Vallarta Beach Club.
